With the strategic rapid growth of our luxury brands in Qatar at IHG Hotels and Resorts, we are looking for a seasoned Stewarding Team Leader with luxury and lifestyle brand hotel experiences to join our team in Doha.


Just a stone’s throw from the many favorite sights of the Qatari capital, the hotel will welcome guests and locals to experience its 283 guest rooms, including suites and serviced apartments, and to enjoy a multitude of unique dining options.


A little taste of your day-to-day:


  • Lead and actively participate in the cleaning and sanitizing of kitchens, equipment, and food & beverage premises to ensure the highest hygiene standards
  • Supervise the receiving, proper storage, and handling of kitchen goods, equipment, and stewarding supplies
  • Oversee the handling, cleaning, and storage of kitchen linen
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, operational, and prepared for use before and during service periods
  • Supervise stewarding operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with brand standards
  • Enforce strict adherence to local health, safety, and hygiene regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Monitor and supervise waste management and disposal processes in line with environmental and safety standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and grooming; ensure team members consistently follow hygiene protocols
  • Conduct shift briefings in the absence of the Chief Steward to communicate hotel activities, operational needs, and daily priorities
  • Control stewarding operational costs by efficient supervision of labor, equipment use, and supplies
  • Ensure all kitchen and back-of-house areas remain hygienic, organized, and inspection-ready at all times
  • Support training, coaching, and daily supervision of stewarding staff to maintain performance and morale

What We Need From You:


  • Experience in a luxury and lifestyle hotel
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Possess good leadership skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
