Candidates should have hands-on experience in the following areas:
- Installation & Configuration
- Installing Extra-Low Voltage (ELV) systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms, public address, fire alarm, and structured cabling.
- Ensuring proper wiring, terminations, and device mounting according to technical drawings and standards.
- Testing & Commissioning
- Conducting functional tests, troubleshooting, and system commissioning to verify performance.
- Documenting test results and assisting engineers in system handover.
- Maintenance & Support
- Performing routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on ELV systems.
- Responding to service requests and ensuring minimal downtime.
- Technical Knowledge
- Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems, networking basics, and integration with IT/MEP infrastructure.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Collaboration & Safety
- Working closely with engineers, contractors, and clients to meet project requirements.
- Adhering to safety standards and company procedures during installation and maintenance activities.
2–4 years of relevant ELV technician experience.
Diploma or technical certification in Electrical/Electronics or related field.
Knowledge of tools, testing equipment, and industry-standard practices.
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently or in teams.
