Job Description

The Accounting & Admin Officer is responsible for managing finance, controlling, and administrative activities to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role supports financial reporting, customer credit management, and HR/administrative tasks for the Qatar office. 


Finance & Accounting 


  • Manage finance and controlling activities, including full accounting entries, reconciliations, and period-end closing. 
  • Handle accounts payable/receivable, allocations, accruals, prepayments, and inter-company invoicing with reconciliations. 
  • Perform banking transactions, month-end bank reconciliations, and ensure compliance with tax requirements (WHT, Corporate Tax, VAT). 
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, respond to queries, and ensure adherence to company policies. 
  • Review and submit monthly financial results, assist in budgeting and forecasting. 

Credit Control Management 


  • Maintain customer credentials and evaluate credit risks and limits. 
  • Prepare and document rental/sales contracts and agreements. 
  • Follow up on outstanding payments, resolve invoice/payment issues, and ensure timely settlements. 
  • Prepare required reports and meeting minutes. 

HR & Administration 


  • Manage office supplies, travel arrangements, and day-to-day administrative tasks. 
  • Track and renew insurance policies, AMCs, and manage vendor relationships. 
  • Ensure upkeep of office facilities and support HR activities. 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. 
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and administration. 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and audit processes. 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office. 
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
