Finance Manager – FMCG / Bottled Water Industry

About the Role

Almas Water, a leading bottled drinking water manufacturer and distributor in Qatar, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager with strong exposure to the water, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing industry.

This role is critical in strengthening financial control, cost management, and strategic decision-making as the company scales operations.

The Finance Manager will work closely with senior management, production, and operations teams to ensure financial discipline, accurate reporting, and sustainable profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end finance operations including accounting, budgeting, and reporting
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and cash-flow statements
  • Control production costing, COGS, and margin analysis for 5-gallon and PET operations
  • Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and inventory valuation
  • Implement and strengthen internal controls and SOPs
  • Support management with financial analysis, forecasts, and strategic insights
  • Coordinate with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities in Qatar
  • Ensure compliance with local tax, VAT, and statutory requirements
  • Drive ERP-based financial reporting and automation initiatives


Skills

Minimum 8–12 years of finance experience in FMCG / bottled water / beverage manufacturing

Strong knowledge of cost accounting, production costing, and inventory control

Proven experience in P&L management and cash-flow planning

Hands-on experience with ERP systems (ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work closely with operations and production teams

Experience in Qatar or GCC market preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
