Role Purpose
Own the overall security posture of the BNPL platform, ensuring protection of customer data, secure cloud operations, and compliance with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulatory requirements in a fintech context.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the company’s information and cloud security architecture
- Own identity and access management, encryption, secrets, and key management
- Lead compliance with QCB cybersecurity requirements and relevant standards
- Conduct security risk assessments and threat modelling
- Manage security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities
- Perform vendor and third-party security assessments
- Support internal and external audits, including regulatory reviews
- Drive security awareness and secure development practices across teams
Skills
Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity
- Mandatory experience in a fintech or product-based technology company
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud security (GCP / AWS / Azure)
- Experience with IAM, SIEM, WAF, and endpoint security tools
- Prior experience supporting audits or regulator interactions
- Security certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus
