We are looking for a skilled and qualified Metallic Pipe Welder (6G / GTAW) to join our team for ongoing Oil & Gas and industrial plant projects. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in welding Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel pipes and be able to qualify under the approved project WPS.
Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and high-quality welding in 6G position using GTAW (TIG) process.
- Weld Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel pipes as per project requirements.
- Follow approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and ensure all welds meet inspection and quality standards.
- Read and interpret isometric drawings, welding symbols, and material specifications.
- Maintain proper welding parameters and records in line with QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate with fitters, supervisors, and inspectors to complete fabrication and erection activities on schedule.
- Adhere to all safety and quality control standards at the worksite.
Skills
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pipe welding within Oil & Gas or industrial projects.
- Certified and competent to weld in 6G position (mandatory).
- Strong hands-on experience in GTAW (TIG) welding process.
- Proven expertise in welding Super Duplex, Duplex, and Stainless Steel piping materials.
- Ability to qualify under project-specific WPS.
- Good understanding of piping standards, codes, and inspection procedures.
- Team player with good communication skills and strong work ethics.
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Welding / Mechanical Trade.
- Valid 6G / GTAW (TIG) Welder Certification.
