Qualification & Experience

???? Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Water or Environmental or Civil or Chemical Engineering or Chemical or Biological Science, and Certification in

water quality assessments is essential

???? Experience: More than 10 years of experience in water quality management and leadership responsibility in a large organization with 4+ years of supervisory experience preferably in a large utility company

???? Fluent in English correspondence. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

???? Computer literate and presentation skill

???? Requires mobile communication during normal and outside office hours for emergency contact

???? Interview: Pass interview conducted by Kahramaa

Major Duties / Responsibilities

???? Develops, implements, and ensures effective maintenance of water quality policies and programs in liaison with the Head of Health and Environment by coordinating with the Water Networks Directorate to ensure the water transmitted and distributed across Qatar, is of assured quality

???? Manages development, integration and implementation of Water Quality strategies and plans, in order to ensure water quality in compliance with Kahramaa’s standards, regulations and policies

???? Develops Water Quality procedures and systems, in compliance with all relevant quality standards and procedural/ legislative requirements

???? Ensures preparation of manuals and guidelines which includes guidelines on ensuring compliance with drinking water quality standards

???? Plans all the Water Quality activities in a cost effective and professional manner by being aware of all occurrences and requirements of operations, maintenance and administrative departments

???? Conducts regular audits and inspections on KAHRAMAA Water sites and KAHRAMAA Water Quality lab to assess the implementation of established

policies & systems

???? Sets certification requirements for Kahramaa Water Quality Lab in order to meet with the highest international standards

???? Provides recommendations to the Water Networks Directorate on any queries/ issues/ concerns with regards to water quality

???? Participates in second party audits of suppliers, consultants and contractors working with Kahramaa and ensures all audits are periodically conducted and compliant with established standards

???? Ensures documentation of the audit findings and submit reports to the management when required

???? Ensures all non-conformance reports are raised during the audits and verification of corrective and preventive actions and corrective action initiated

???? Reviews all documents pertaining to monthly Water Quality plans, incident investigations etc., in a timely manner

???? Adheres to organizational policies and procedures at all times as applicable to performing the role

???? Keeps abreast of any changes in related laws and regulations that impact the Water Quality initiatives driven by the department

???? Works in cooperation with Quality Assurance and Continual Improvement
