• Provide leadership to a team of Foul Sewer Design Engineers and Draftsmen • Provide the technical guidance, supervision, quality assurance and quality control for all deliverables • Schedule and manage the team’s daily activities • Prepare delivery forecasts and estimates • Ensure that deliverables meet contractual requirements • Coordinate with the Project Manager and the Drainage Lead for the project requirements and expectations • Represent the discipline in all internal and external meetings • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders • Undertake staff improvement (e.g. trainings and lessons-learned sessions) and assess employee performance. • Manage project scope change, scope creep and other contractual matters • Undertake process improvements towards better work efficiency

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering • Masters Degree is preferred but not essential • Familiarity with Ashghal Guidelines and Standards is preferred, but knowledge in other similar standards (e.g. British/European) can be considered. • Minimum 15 years solid experience in the field of foul sewerage design. • Solid knowledge in gravity and pressurized networks design for foul sewerage, for the different stages of design development (i.e. concept, preliminary and detailed). • Solid knowledge in gravity and pressurized network modelling in SewerCAD and SewerGEMS. Knowledge in in the use of Infoworks ICM and Civil 3D will be an advantage. • Knowledgeable in the preparation of reports, calculations, presentations, cost estimates, life cycle cost analyses, value engineering, environment and sustainability. • Proven leadership and work management skills • Proven ability to interface with internal and external entities • Proven oral and written communication skills • Results driven Required areas of Technical Expertise: - • Gravity and Pressurized Networks Design • Population and Sewage Flow estimates • Hydraulic Modelling • Master Plan Development • Design Development • Stakeholder Management • Work Planning and Resource Management • Tender Documentation Required Technical Skills: • MS Office (e.g. word, excel and powerpoint) • AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D • Bentley SewerCAD and SewerGEMS • Infoworks ICM • Infoworks WS
