Facilities Officer

The Accommodation Officer-woman is responsible for managing accommodation-related tasks, and ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for the employee residence. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various responsibilities simultaneously. The incumbent needs to be an organized and detail-oriented individual.


Responsibilities


  • Coordinate the allocation and assignment of accommodation units.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the maintenance of a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Address and resolve accommodation-related issues promptly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents or employees regarding accommodation matters.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to understand and address accommodation needs.
  • Ensure compliance with accommodation policies and procedures.
  • Keep abreast of relevant legislation and industry best practices to maintain a fair and inclusive accommodation environment.
  • Arrange recreational and employee engagement activities at the accommodation.
  • Assist in conducting regular and surprise drills related to safety, security, and code of conduct.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to think critically and find effective solutions.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents, employees, and other team members.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in managing records, inspections, and issue resolutions.


Qualification and Experience


  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Hotel Management
  • At least 3 years of experience in accommodation management, or property management.
