Employment: Full Time

Primary purpose of job

  • Perform invoicing activities, maintenance, and controls for QatarEnergy LNG Marketing (QELM) invoicing operations in line with approved policies and procedures
  • Perform and suggest preventive and detective financial controls and accounting efficiency using global industry best practices
  • Identify and develop necessary skills and resources


Experience & Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in medium to large organization with adequate exposure to accounting & finance functions
  • Previous experience in similar capacity in an oil and gas industry would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of systems in a computerized business environment which includes knowledge and experience in MS Office packages, SAP or similar advanced ERP system
  • Invoicing skills must have been demonstrated in previous jobs and/or assignments
  • Working knowledge of international invoicing standards
  • 5 years working experience in an invoicing department
  • Competency in general ledger reconciliations and controls


Education

  • Bachelor in Accounting/ Finance / Commerce
  • Professional certification like Certified Public Accountant / Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant / MBA in Finance
