ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support E&C Engineering Project Lead on technical subjects.
• Ensure that engineering deliverables meet overall Pre-study, Statement of Requirements and NOC Technical Standards and rules.
• Support Technical Reference Persons’ (TRP) / Discipline Engineers for various technical disciplines within the Engineering task force team.
• Ensure that the assigned project(s) is diligently managed as per statement of requirement (SOR), NOC Standards and Contractual requirements.
• Ensure that all the interfaces with the relevant parties including with the partners/ regulator/ 3rd parties are correctly managed.
• Ensure that the projects are executed in the highly safety manner, quality conformance and within schedule and budget.

ACTIVITIES

• Ensure and promote the application of NOC HSE and Safety Engineering rules and specifications.
• Promote safety culture within Engineering department and ensure Contractors comply at all times with safety rules.
• Pursue within Engineering department the HSE objectives defined by the line management.
• Maintain engineering processes and procedures, work instructions and check lists.
• Organize and check regularly the quality of the technical deliverables produced.
• Support Construction and Brownfield Projects departments whenever required during procurement & fabrication phases.
• Review & comment on Vendors deliverables and Technical Dossiers prepared by Contractors for RFM and Projects.
• Participate to develop, release and maintain engineering processes and procedures, work instructions and check lists.
• Ensure that the Contractors submit all deliverables on time and check them regularly to achieve NOC quality expectations.
• Participate to coordinate the various specialists involved in the studies: HSEQ, Construction, Field Operations to ensure the facilities are safe, easy to operate, maintainable and inspectable.
• Review & to comment on Vendors deliverables and Technical Dossiers prepared by Contractors for RFM and Projects.
• Carry out any other duties/projects may be assigned to him/her by the hierarchy.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• Complex operational interfaces with other entities of NOC in a major and large brownfield offshore environment.
• Position located in Doha (Qatar) office with possible mission to project premises (onshore/ offshore/ in the country/ outside the country).

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline
• Multi discipline engineering background with a minimum of 12 plus years of experience in the Upstream Oil & Gas industry and project management.
• A previous experience in an offshore Brownfield projects would be added advantage.
• Good knowledge of the industrial context, contract practice and Oil & Gas operations in general.
• Good sense of team spirit leadership, strong interpersonal and soft communication skills in multi-cultural environment.
• Fluent in English – Both verbal and written
