OVERVIEW
The Public Relations Officer’s (PRO) role is to undertake all the activities for official application/submission/collection of approval and timely processing of various legal documents and permits related to the company and its businesses. The PRO ensures compliance in dealing directly with local government offices and authorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and provide periodical updates from the government authorities on labor and immigration rules to keep the department well-informed of the changes in policies and procedures.
- Submit, follow up, and collect new employment visas (through QVC non-QVC) to ensure timely processing to support the business.
- Renew, update and maintain employees’ Qatar ID (QID) and labor contracts promptly to ensure that o records are up to date in both labor and immigration offices.
- Provide and renew Hamad Medical insurance promptly, ensuring employees enjoy medical coverage.
- Deal with general enquires regarding PRO functions promptly and efficiently to enhance the level of department service.
- Renew, update and maintain the trade licenses and other government certificates of all company’s legal entities in the State of Qatar to ensure the documents are up to date.
- Assist in obtaining visas from other embassies in the State of Qatar for staff members’ business travel.
- Arrange processing attestation of employee qualifications as required after attestation by employee’s embassy has been finalized.
- Accurate preparation of documents according to the requirement of the legal authorities.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of company and employee documents at all times.
- Fleet Management, including services, inspection, and safe record keeping of company vehicles, registration, and renewals.
- Proper filing and maintaining of visa information and records (Electronically and hard copies)
- Maintain and record license information. (Electronically and hard copies)
- Filing and maintaining QIDs and Hamad Insurance information for all company employees.
- Submit and process Ooredoo payroll cards
- Support in adhoc tasks as deemed required and allocated by the department manager.

QUALIFICATION
· High school or Secondary Diploma
· Min 3 years’ experience working as PRO in the state of Qatar
· Arabic language: reading, writing and speaking and basic English
