Job Summary:
The job holder shall provide analyses the health insurance related data and provide useful insights into how health care benefits can be organized and financed and provides a framework to address a broad range of issues in an explicit and consistent manner.
The incumbent shall aim to maximize the benefits from available resources. Equity concerns are also recognized and addressed.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Collect, organize, and analyze economic data from various sources, including government reports, financial statements, and industry publications.
2. Research and assess market conditions, industry trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities and threats.
3. Develop economic forecasts and models to predict future trends and other key economic indicators.
4. Evaluate the impact of government policies, regulations, and fiscal measures on the economy, industries, and businesses.
5. Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing economic findings and insights for internal and external stakeholders.
6. Identify potential economic risks and vulnerabilities and propose strategies to mitigate them.
7. Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, return on investment (ROI), and financial feasibility studies for various projects and initiatives.
8. Monitor and analyze global economic trends and events that may impact the local or national economy.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, government agencies, and external partners to gather data and insights.
10. Provide informed recommendations for economic policies, fiscal measures, and business strategies based on data analysis and research.
11. Effectively communicate complex economic concepts and findings to non-expert stakeholders.
12. Stay updated on the latest economic theories, models, and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
Required Education:
Bachelor degree in economics, commerce or related discipline.
