Position Summary

Our client is a major Oil & Gas EPC company in the Middle East. This role is to support a multimillion dollar EPC project in Qatar.

• Should be a qualified engineer with 18+ years experience in planning/project controls and must have executed atleast two major projects in the capacity of Site Planning Manager.
• Responsible for the planning, scheduling and monitoring of the project on a continuous basis through work schedules, progress measurement and reporting systems ensuring smooth implementation of the project during the execution and handover phase thereby supporting the project management team.
• Lead a team of planning engineers and schedulers to plan, monitor and control the execution of the project within the time and budgetary parameters, optimizing resource utilization.
• Support the project management team and Project Team regarding project status, progress monitoring and reporting and forecasting and definition of alternatives.
• Develop systems, procedures and implement the work schedule, monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through defined reports on regular intervals with respect to review of the overall project.
• Carry out risk analysis on schedule and update the project management and other disciplines on the status and advise on the mitigation routes to ensure timely delivery.
• Should display good time management, organizational skills, strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from any leading University.
