Primary Purpose of the job

Serve as the primary liaison between the Company and Chartered LNG Carriers, ensuring efficient voyage management and safe vessel operations. Facilitate effective communication with Owners, Operators, and associated parties to address fleet commercial operation issues.


Experience & Skills

  • 8 years of shipping operations experience within a shipping/Oil/Gas Company, or demonstrate expertise as a Senior Deck or Engineering Officer; alternatively, transition from marine/shipping-related roles (e.g., QatarEnergy Loading and Storage).
  • Possess prior experience and knowledge of ship operations, particularly in LNG or LPG operations, encompassing marine loading and discharging.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in both written and oral English for report preparation and presentations.
  • Display a solid understanding of Shipping Commercial documents.
  • Maintain a comprehensive grasp of Safety, Health, and Environmental Standards pertinent to the Oil & Gas Industry and Marine Environment, with a preference for experience in Marine Incident Emergency Response.

Education

  • Hold either a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marine, Navigational Sciences, or Business Administration or, Master Mariner / Chief Engineer Certificate
