About the role
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist in the Cabin Services division you will ensure planned, effective and timely talent acquisition of personnel in accordance with the approved manpower plan and valid staff requisitions. You will travel on duty to conduct Cabin Crew talent acquisition events. You will source the most competent staff from various countries, to ensure the best possible mix of human resources. You will advertise vacancies, assess and interview applicants, give selection tests, prepare reports, and make recommendations to management about staff appointments. You will also support the development of psychometric and personality development tools, instruments, and sophisticated talent acquisition based behavioural assessments to enable the company to use best methods in the selection process.
Your operational role includes:
· Regular duty travel to facilitate volume talent acquisition events.
· Personally assess candidate competence, cultural fit and motivation to ensure a sufficient talent pipeline to meet business resourcing plans for the financial year.
· Screen test and conduct interviews for all applicants.
· Promote best practice talent selection within the provided selection framework.
· Support the broader acquisition of talent for the operational department inclusive of planning, onboarding and induction.
· Engage third party suppliers as required.
· Represent Qatar Airways in line with our employer brand positioning.
· Ensure the highest standards of candidate experience.

Qualifications
About you
To be successful in this role you must have:
· A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field and 4 years' experience in talent acquisition or related field, preferably in an airline OR High School / Vocational Qualification /Diploma in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field and 5 years’ experience in talent acquisition or related field, preferably in an airline
· Ability to travel frequently on duty to selected destinations in order to conduct Cabin Crew talent acquisition events.
· Previous Cabin Crew experience would be an asset.
· Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
· Well-developed lateral and analytical thinking skills.
· Ability to support project management within a multicultural environment.
· Proven experience of demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business and ability to work in a team.
· Strong interactions with client area with proven influencing experience at a senior level.
· Exposure to HR systems and interviewing techniques.
· Proven ability to work under pressure to defined tight timescales and budget.
· Ability to role model best practice in interviewing techniques.
· If you are a Cabin Crew with QR, the minimum requirement to be considered for this position is Cabin Services Director.
