Position Overview:
The ideal candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new opportunities by utilizing a consultative selling approach. This role requires a strategic and results-driven individual who can identify, qualify, and nurture targeted customer opportunities, leading to sales growth with both new and existing customers in the Warehousing and Freight sectors.
The candidate will leverage their expertise to translate customer business objectives into actionable sales opportunities while collaborating closely with the sales department to ensure sustainable growth for Canis Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Business Development:
- Generate and develop high-quality leads for Warehousing storage facilities and Freight services. Work closely with the sales team to align business development efforts with targeted growth objectives.
Consultative Sales Approach:
- Employ a consultative selling strategy to deeply understand customer needs, analyze their business objectives, and create tailored solutions that add value through Canis Logistics services.
Opportunity Creation:
- Leverage a value-based approach to proactively uncover opportunities with both existing and new clients. Use insights into customer strategy and industry trends to position Canis Logistics as a key partner in their growth and success.
Collaboration with Management:
- Work cross-functionally with team management to create a seamless and effective customer experience, ensuring timely follow-ups, tailored solutions, and strong relationship management.
Sales Process Management:
- Take ownership of all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer information is captured in the CRM system, and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals. Provide expert consultation and strategic insights to clients to support their logistics needs.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the Warehousing and Freight sector in the State of Qatar.
- Strong understanding of warehousing, freight services, and logistics operations.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
- Valid Qatar driving license.
