Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Estimation Engineer to lead the development of winning techno-commercial proposals. The role requires creating high-quality and accurate estimation/commercial models by implementing robust estimation processes. This position involves high interaction with internal and external stakeholders, requiring the ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines. Knowledge of energy performance, people management, and commercial skills is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, accurate, and timely techno-commercial proposals for Energy, O&M, and Technology projects requiring custom design and deployment.
- Lead and implement robust estimation processes to ensure efficiency and competitiveness.
- Oversee the overall planning, preparation, and delivery of proposals, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.
- Provide estimation leadership for complex projects involving significant customization and innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to gather necessary information and align proposals with project requirements.
- Manage and mentor estimation team members to enhance competency and efficiency.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in estimation, with a focus on Energy, O&M, and Technology projects.
- Strong understanding of commercial and technical aspects of project estimation and proposal development.
- Excellent project management and people leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with energy performance, sustainable technologies, and custom design deployment is an advantage.
