Assistant Manager, Central Cash Vault and ATM Operations

Job Summary

•   The primary role includes, ensuring Compliance with SOPs and effective interaction and coordination with internal units as per business requirements.

•   Assist the Cash Vault Manager to ensure strict compliance with the regulatory requirements, SOPs and any other instructions together with accurate and satisfactory completion of all operational and administrative tasks.

 

Key Accountabilities

•   Assisting the department manager in the day-to-day processing of physical cash management operations for the bank.


•   Working together with the team for daily validation & reconciliation of all physical cash received from Branches network, Deposit ATMs, Bulk-cash from Exchange Houses & Corporates and G4S.


•   Handling the daily ATM replenishments for all ATMs across CB network and physical cash excess/shortage reporting to the Enterprise Recon team for ATM roll-balancing reconciliation.


•   Supporting transaction dispute resolution management process by engaging with the Chargeback & CCU teams and ensuring all physical cash exceptions are reported for timely management of customer disputes.


•   Support the department manager in the day to day management of cash vault operational services including physical cash collection, verification, reconciliation, delivery and storage.


•   Daily reconciliation of physical cash received from CB ATMs, branches & customers.


•   Maintenance of the Main Vault operations and ensuring all standard operating procedures are followed in line with the predefined guidelines.


•   Handling the bulk cash received from Corporate customers and all Exchange Houses as per SOP and QCB guidelines.


•   Review of E2E cash services processes periodically and identify areas of automation to optimize staff efficiency.


•   To comply with regulatory requirements, SOPs and any other instructions together with accurate and satisfactory completion of all operational and administrative tasks.


•   Working with the Cash Vault Manager to support the bank’s transactional banking/ cash management business operations aligned with the overall strategy.


•   Representing CB for the daily physical cash deposits with QCB in coordination with QCB Vault team.
