Job Overview
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for taking charge of the
complete business development pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure. Your primary
focus will be on identifying, nurturing, and converting leads into successful partnerships and
contracts. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including marketing, sales, and
executive leadership, to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
- Build and maintain a robust lead generation strategy to ensure a steady flow of potential opportunities.
- Initiate contact with leads through various communication channels, including cold calling, emails, networking, and social media.
- Qualify leads by understanding their needs, pain points, and aligning our solutions with their business goals.
- Develop and present compelling proposals and presentations tailored to the specific needs of each potential client.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions that address client challenges and objectives.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure successful deals while maximizing value for both parties.
- Manage a CRM system to track and report on leads, opportunities, and deal status accurately.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to proactively adapt our strategies.
Requirements
- 3 years of proven experience in business development or sales, with a track record of successfully closing deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Sales or Marketing;
- MBA is a plus.
