An exciting opportunity for Licensed Aircraft Technician - Workshops
To carry out maintenance work on aircraft components and to certify the work. To directly guide or support the work performed by the mechanics by providing specialized technical knowledge.
Operational Accountabilities
- Ensures that all aircraft components maintenance work is accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures to achieve highest quality product.
- Responsible for completion and certification of scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance assigned tasks by exercising the authorization privilege to meet operational needs.
- Advising any impending work-related problems which can create impact on work progression to engineer in charge and implement solutions to problems using expertise and knowledge.
- Responsible for effective and correct operation of equipment by adhering to instruction manual for safe work environment.
- Responsible for usage of correct tools and equipment for scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance to ensure full compliance of regulations.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment used are properly calibrated and serviceable before and after use through close monitoring, in order to comply with quality requirements.
- Responsible for on time completion of scheduled/unscheduled aircraft and component maintenance assigned tasks to meet relevant internal customers' operational requirements (such as supply chain, Line, Base maintenance) under their authorization.
- Responsible to optimize man power utilization and all available resources through roster management techniques to maintain proper production flow path and to meet on time release.
- Defining work priorities to the staff allocated to him to ensure that efficient use of resources is employed to meet tasks completion/component release deadlines.
- Ensuring staff under his immediate control adhere to published maintenance data (CMM, SRM etc.) and health and safety requirements, through regular checks, to achieve quality and safety standards.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications- High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related
- Relevant workshop environment experience
- For Structures - Aircraft structural experience with minimum 3 year on wide body aircraft applicable for Structures and Composite Workshop. 1 company authorization.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance fundamentals and procedures.
- Knowledge of air legislation.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, operation and proper handling.
- Able to communicate effectively with inside or outside customers and other departments
