About the Role
Responsible for leading commercial projects and Marketing campaigns including liaising all aspects of new station start-up of new destinations and/or partnerships. To manage and develop the Qatar Aviation Services commercial project portfolio, initiate and successfully run its business with the aim to optimize, control project phases, delivery and return on investment
Responsibilities
Responsible to develop a strategic vision, create brand awareness, to manage and develop the Qatar Aviation Services commercial project portfolio, initiate and successfully run its business with the aim to optimize, control project phases.
- Responsible for developing strategic marketing plans for QAS (in line with QAS & QR group), managing marketing companies and creative work, leading market research, and liaising with media organizations and advertising agencies in order to attract potential customers and to raising the brand awareness.
- Responsible to explore new areas commercially to expand revenue streams as per QAS Vision.
- Support the departments heads to setup of out stations current & future activities in terms of conducting out station Business case, feasibility report and communicate the findings to the relevant heads to close it before the launch date.
- Responsible to manage the efficient and timely execution of for commercial & marketing projects. Communicating the amendments, timelines, accountabilities, and deliverables to the stakeholder for any outstation setup policy Governing body.
- To convey the messages in a unique and creative manner to stake holders about the offerings of the business services by coming up with innovative marketing and promotional ideas.
- Approve marketing communication content for advertising which includes developing QAS Website, QAS print advertisements and brochures done by team in order to ensuring the quality with company communication strategy and prescribed brand guidelines.
- Ensuring the Project Management tool is used by all the Focal Points effectively and efficiently, and is aligned with the actual roles and responsibilities, deliverables.
- Escalating concerns and risks resulting from the non-completion or delay of deliverables to both the Steering Committee and Governance Committee.
- Develop, prepare, analyze and present project Progress report to the:
- Steering Committee
- Governance Committee
- Major Stakeholders.
- Lead investigation when variances from project progress timeline are significant and recommend necessary control action to QAS management as required.
- Maintain Post Implementation Checklist, Lessons Learnt documents.
- Review the out-station startup policy quarterly and provide feedback on findings to the relevant project and commercial business cases (financial & Operational) to the Governing body.
- Establish and maintain the overall project portfolio within Commercial department, ensuring all commercial and marketing project phases are maintained and completed in line with agreed schedules.
- Evaluate projects, assign project effort and priority and manage the overall project prioritization and resource conflict within Commercial department.
- Manage commercial & marketing project portfolio stakeholder communication in all scheduled project phases and updating Senior Management on developmental areas.
- Manage business analysis for directly managed projects and ensure that thorough business requirements and analysis is maintained and completed for all projects in the commercial division
- Continually monitor performance of Projects, staff, and vendors working on projects, and ensure the information and analysis are reported to Management.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
Qualifications
About you
Essential
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
- Strong command of English language
- Strong background in mathematical skills, engineering and information technology.
- Strong research, analytical and detail-oriented aptitude, high degree of accuracy is required.
- Ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively to meet given time parameters.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
Preferred
- Business Financial Analysis Experience
