We are seeking an Operations Specialist for a mall who has sound experience in ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the entire mall. This role involves overseeing various aspects of mall management to ensure a positive and enjoyable experience for visitors, tenants, and stakeholders.


The Mall Operation Specialist works closely with mall management teams, tenants, vendors, and service providers to maintain the overall functionality, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the mall.


Key Responsibilities

Tenant and Vendor Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for tenants, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with tenants to ensure compliance with lease agreements, tenant guidelines, and operational policies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of maintenance, security, cleaning, and other services.

Customer Experience:

  • Monitor and enhance the overall visitor experience by ensuring a clean, safe, and inviting environment throughout the mall.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly, striving to improve customer satisfaction levels.

Security and Safety:

  • Collaborate with security personnel to implement and enforce mall security protocols, ensuring the safety of visitors, tenants, and employees.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and drills to prepare for emergencies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Leasing and Tenant Management:

  • Assist in the leasing process for vacant spaces, working with the leasing team to attract and onboard new tenants.
  • Coordinate tenant move-ins, move-outs, and lease renewals, including conducting inspections and addressing tenant-related issues.

Marketing and Events:

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to plan and execute promotional events, marketing campaigns, and seasonal decorations to attract visitors.
  • Coordinate with tenants to encourage participation in mall-wide events and promotions.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive records of operational activities, incidents, maintenance logs, and tenant interactions.
  • Generate regular reports for mall management and property owners, detailing operational performance and tenant feedback.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in high end multi-tenant commercial / retail property management
  • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within a mall or retail environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, vendors, and customers.
  • Proficient in budget management, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and safety standards applicable to mall.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
