We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Coordinator with experience in FMCG buying. The ideal candidate will manage purchasing activities, ensure accurate inventory levels, and maintain strong supplier relationships to support Snoomart store operations.


(Some of) What you will be doing:

  • Create and send purchase orders to suppliers while ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory levels across stores, preventing stock outs by timely replenishment.
  • Coordinate with Snoomart store supervisors and coordinators to understand inventory needs.
  • Resolve delivery issues with suppliers and stores promptly.
  • Evaluate suppliers' performance regularly to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Research and assess potential suppliers to optimize purchasing options.
  • Contact suppliers for renegotiating agreements and improving deals when necessary.
  • Conduct in-depth product research for effective sourcing.
  • Update and maintain contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms.
  • Update product prices and details in the system, maintaining accuracy.
  • List new products in the system, ensuring proper descriptions, prices, and photos are accurate and up to date.
  • File contracts and perform other administrative tasks for the procurement department.
  • Perform market research and analysis to stay informed of industry trends.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to ensure Snoomart remains ahead in product offerings and pricing.


Attitude matters most but do you have any of these?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in FMCG buying or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
