Design Mechanical Engineer shall be responsible for developing sustainable building services on numerous projects including government institutions, commercial, residential, tall towers, and mixed-use developments.
This position requires a qualified Engineer with good knowledge of ventilation, air conditioning systems, smoke management, and QCDD requirements. The preferred candidate shall be knowledgeable about plumbing, drainage, and firefighting and have a successful track record of delivering detailed designs to the highest international standards.
Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Ability to review building services documentation (drawings, calculations, specifications…) throughout the design process and contribute to content and direction
• Proficiency in the design of sustainable HVAC systems including air-cooled as well as water-cooled plants, firefighting, and public health Engineering
• Experience in using computer design tools
• Interfacing and professionally working with clients to achieve project goals
• prior design experience with various building services design codes such as British standards, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and other international codes
Skills
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: [X] years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a proven track record of successful projects.
Knowledge:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA).
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar certification is a plus.
