Key Responsibilities:
Product Curation and Sourcing:
- Identify and curate handmade products from artisans and craftsmen locally, regionally, and globally.
- Establish and maintain relationships with makers to ensure a steady supply of unique and high-quality handmade items.
Store Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the physical and digital store.
- Ensure the store’s visual merchandising aligns with its avant-garde and creative mission.
- Manage inventory, pricing, and product placement to optimize sales.
Marketing and Promotion:
- Develop and execute creative marketing campaigns to promote the artisans and their stories.
- Utilize both physical and digital channels to maximize the store’s reach and engagement.
- Organize and participate in international fairs, trunk shows, pop-up events, and community engagement programs.
Community and Customer Engagement:
- Foster a strong community around the concept store, emphasizing the value and stories behind handmade products.
- Develop and manage customer loyalty programs to build a dedicated customer base.
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.
Digital Presence:
- Maintain a robust digital presence through the store’s website and social media platforms.
- Implement e-commerce strategies to increase online sales and visibility.
- Create content that highlights the artisans, their crafts, and the unique value proposition of the store.
Event Management:
- Plan and execute product launch events and inspirational campaigns.
- Coordinate and manage events that showcase artisans' work and engage the community.
- Measure the success of events and adjust strategies accordingly.
Growth and Development:
- Develop strategic plans to grow the concept store both locally and globally.
- Monitor market trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the handmade product market.
- Collaborate with the Heenat Salma Farm team to align store activities with broader organizational goals.
Skills
Education and Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
· Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a concept store or a similar environment.
· Strong understanding and appreciation of handmade products and artisan crafts.
· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Creative and innovative mindset with a strong ability to think outside the box.
· Proficiency in digital marketing and e-commerce platforms.
· Ability to travel internationally for fairs and events
