  • Job purpose:Reporting to the Project Offshore Head of Commissioning, the Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Specialist is responsible for managing the Pre-commissioning activities of Project Offshore Pipeline to ensure objectives are safely met within the approved scope and schedule.
  • Pipeline Pre-Commissioning Specialist shall ensure that all his scope of work is completed in accordance with safety and quality standards applicable.


Skills

Qualifications & Experience Required: 

  •  Engineering degree/diploma or equivalent, however any qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
  • Min 8 years of total experiences with at least 6 years demonstrated as pipeline pre-commissioning lead in major capital projects
  • Experiences with pipeline pre-commissioning activities including FCG, Hydrotest, intelligent pigging (ILI), dewatering, drying, pre-batch pigging and N2 packing for onshore and offshore pipeline including interface work with other contractors and SIMOPS.
  • Experiences for handling Intelligent Pigging (ILI) including technology adapted for intelligent pigging operations services such as MFL, UT, EC, EMAT, etc and including experiences for handling geometric/ caliper tools.
  • Worldwide pipeline pre-commissioning experience with sub-contractors or under company and familiar with preparation doc and tools for pre-commissioning campaign.
  • Familiar with ICAPS system completion database will be advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT
  • A high level of proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Computer literacy involving the regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications
  • Ability to communicate with Contractor’s team and obtain required information as requested.
  • Experienced with Interface coordination and support activities and documentation.
