Job Summary

The Ride Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operational readiness of all amusement rides and attractions. This role ensures that all rides operate safely and efficiently, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements. The supervisor leads a team of technicians and coordinates maintenance activities to minimize downtime and enhance guest experience.

Job Responsibilities 1

Oversee the daily maintenance operations for all rides, ensuring timely and efficient execution of maintenance tasks.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.

Lead, train, and motivate a team of maintenance technicians. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimize ride downtime and ensure operational readiness during peak times.

Diagnose and troubleshoot ride malfunctions. Coordinate and perform repairs to ensure quick resolution of issues.

Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and parts. Ensure availability of critical components and manage procurement processes.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. Generate reports for management and regulatory bodies.

Assist in the preparation and management of the maintenance department budget. Monitor expenditures and optimize resource allocation.

Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services, equipment procurement, and technical support.

Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve maintenance processes, enhance ride performance, and extend equipment lifespan.

Must be available to work flexible hours as required by management. Ability to work at height preferred.

Skills

Job Knowledge & Skills

Previous Supervisory Position preferred / running a small team.

Prio experience working with mechanical/electrical/control systems and machines; preferred experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing rides.

Recognized tradesman qualification.

Successfully completed apprenticeship or similar.

Job Experience

Minimum 5 year(s) working experience, 3 year(s) relevant working experience, 2 year (s) GCC is a plus
