• Identify faults and carry out repairs to equipment following breakdowns. Effectively & efficiently plan equipment upgrades and machinery modifications.
• Monitor the performance of equipment after repairs have been carried out, following all Health and Safety regulations. If further repairs necessary report to Supervisor.
• Plan and carry out planned preventative maintenance on all plant and equipment aiming to achieve maximum plant availability for all operational teams.
• Ensure that programmed maintenance work is completed on time to the satisfaction of business requirements, to meet all Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental (HSEQ)policies and procedures.
• Work closely with Engineers and Managers to increase availability and effectiveness of plant and equipment available to those who require it.
• Ensure any concerns which may affect operational objectives are communicated to the Manager in a timely and effective manner to ensure efficient contingency plans can be put in place.
• Take part in an emergency call out rota for out of hours plant and equipment breakdowns as directed by Supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as required by the Supervisor.
