Penetration Tester Qatar - 1 Month

Role Description The Penetration Tester role in Qatar is a temporary, on-site position based in Doha. The role involves planning and performing penetration tests against web applications, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments to identify security vulnerabilities and assess real-world attack paths. Responsibilities include conducting red team exercises, simulating adversary tactics, creating detailed technical and executive-level reports, and presenting findings and remediation guidance to internal and client stakeholders. The Penetration Tester will collaborate with cybersecurity consultants, incident response teams, and platform specialists to improve detection and defense capabilities. The role also includes staying current with emerging threats, tools, and exploitation techniques, and contributing to secure development and architecture reviews.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Red Teaming and Application Security for simulating advanced attacks and assessing secure design and implementation with 4 years of hands on experience.
• Candidates should possess skills in Reverse Engineering and Malware Analysis to dissect binaries, understand exploit payloads, and analyze malicious code behavior.
• Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Cybersecurity principles, including vulnerability assessment, secure network architecture, and threat modeling.
• Experience with common penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Cobalt Strike, or similar) is beneficial.
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CREST, GPEN, or similar offensive security credentials are advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, collaborate in diverse teams, and handle sensitive information with professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in offensive security is preferred.
