Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee our corporate financial compliance, manage corporate tax audits, and handle end-to-end withholding tax accounting. The ideal candidate will bridge general ledger activities with strict regulatory compliance to minimize company liability. Key Responsibilities: Tax Audit Management: Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and government tax authorities during corporate tax audits. Prepare defense files, audit schedules, and reconciliation data. Withholding Tax (WHT): Oversee monthly withholding tax calculations, verify domestic and cross-border vendor invoices, execute accurate tax postings, and manage timely submissions and portal filings. Corporate Tax Filing: Assist in the preparation, provision, and filing of annual corporate income tax returns. General Ledger & Postings: Review, approve, and execute complex tax-related journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent tax certification is preferred).

• 4+ years of professional accounting experience, with at least 2 years heavily focused on corporate tax compliance and audit defense.

• Strong familiarity with regional tax structures, corporate tax laws, and withholding tax treaties.

• who has experience audit and tax handling in Qatar, Ey, PWC, Deloitt or any audit firm

• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP) and Excel.
