Job Description

Position Overview


We are looking for a highly organized and service-oriented People & Culture Executive with hands-on experience in Waterpark, Theme Park, Resort, or high-volume hospitality operations.


The successful candidate will support the day-to-day People & Culture operations, including employee relations, payroll coordination, attendance and leave management, employee documentation, recruitment support, onboarding, and HR administration.


Hands-on experience with the Oasys payroll system is mandatory for this position.


Key Responsibilities


People & Culture Operations


  • Manage day-to-day People & Culture activities for Waterpark/Theme Park operational teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
  • Prepare HR letters, certificates, contracts, confirmations, and other employee documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable labour requirements.
  • Support internal HR audits and maintain proper documentation.

Payroll & Oasys System


  • Manage and maintain employee payroll-related data in the Oasys payroll system.
  • Process and verify monthly payroll inputs, including:
    • Attendance and working hours
    • Overtime
    • Leave and absences
    • New joiners and separations
    • Salary adjustments
    • Allowances and deductions
    • End-of-service-related payroll inputs
  • Reconcile payroll information with attendance and HR records before payroll submission.
  • Coordinate with Finance and relevant departments to resolve payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all payroll and employee information.

Attendance & Leave Management


  • Monitor daily attendance, absenteeism, late arrivals, and leave records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates of attendance and leave information.
  • Coordinate with department leaders regarding attendance irregularities and employee concerns.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of attendance policies.

Recruitment & Onboarding


  • Support recruitment activities for operational and support functions.
  • Coordinate interviews, selection documentation, offers, and pre-employment requirements.
  • Support onboarding and induction programs for new employees.
  • Ensure employee files and joining documentation are complete before and after joining.
  • Support high-volume seasonal and operational recruitment requirements.

Employee Relations & Engagement


  • Act as a first point of contact for routine employee queries and People & Culture matters.
  • Support employee relations activities and escalate complex cases to the People & Culture Manager.
  • Assist in disciplinary procedures, investigations, warnings, and other employee relations documentation.
  • Support employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and People & Culture initiatives.
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees and operational departments.

Waterpark / Theme Park Operations


  • Provide hands-on P&C support in a high-volume, fast-paced operational environment.
  • Understand the unique workforce requirements of Waterpark/Theme Park operations, including seasonal staffing, shift work, operational manpower fluctuations, and large frontline teams.
  • Support workforce planning and manpower movements during peak operational periods.
  • Work closely with operational departments such as F&B, Lifeguards, Guest Relations, Attractions, Security, Engineering, Housekeeping, and other park operations.

Qualifications

Requirements


Essential


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant People & Culture / HR experience.
  • Previous experience in a Waterpark, Theme Park, large-scale resort, leisure attraction, or high-volume hospitality operation.
  • Hands-on experience with the Oasys payroll system is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll inputs, attendance, leave, overtime, and employee records.
  • Experience supporting a large and diverse operational workforce.
  • Strong knowledge of HR administration and employee relations.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred


  • Experience in Qatar or the GCC hospitality/leisure industry.
  • Experience working with seasonal or high-volume manpower.
  • Knowledge of Qatar Labour Law and HR practices.
  • Experience supporting large Waterpark/Theme Park operations.
  • Previous experience with HRIS/payroll and attendance systems in addition to Oasys.
