A private family based in Qatar is seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Private English Teacher to provide dedicated English tuition and educational support to children aged 6–12 years. The successful candidate will be an accomplished educator with an excellent academic and professional track record. The role will focus on developing the children's English language, literacy and communication skills, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and confident spoken English.
Working Hours8 hours per day Full-time position Working days and schedule to be agreed with the family
Essential Requirements High level English proficiency, with an exceptional command of spoken and written English Minimum 15 years' teaching experience Bachelor's degree from a recognised university, preferably in English, Education or a related discipline Recognised professional teaching qualification, such as PGCE/QTS or equivalent Extensive experience teaching children within the 6–12 age range Demonstrable ability to deliver high-quality, individually tailored teaching Excellent written and verbal communication skills Professional, discreet, patient, organised and adaptable Excellent professional references and relevant background checks
Highly Desirable A substantial and successful teaching track record within an Outstanding-rated UK school, leading independent school or prestigious boarding school Experience within academically selective or high-performing educational environments Previous experience as a private tutor/teacher for high-net-worth or international families
