Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role located in Doha, Qatar. The CNA will provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility. Responsibilities include monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to nursing staff, measuring and recording vital signs, and helping with patient positioning, transfers, and basic comfort measures. The role involves maintaining clean and safe patient environments, supporting infection prevention practices, and assisting with the preparation of patients for examinations and procedures. The CNA will collaborate closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals, follow established care plans and hospital policies, and communicate respectfully with patients, families, and colleagues. Qualifications Recognized Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) qualification or equivalent nursing support certification. Demonstrated skills in basic patient care, including assistance with daily living activities, safe patient handling, and vital signs measurement. Knowledge of infection prevention, hygiene standards, and safe environmental maintenance in clinical settings. Strong communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions, document care accurately, and interact with patients and families in a respectful, culturally sensitive manner. Ability to work effectively in a team, adapt to a busy hospital environment, and follow established protocols and supervision from licensed nursing staff. Basic computer literacy for accessing electronic records and completing documentation, where applicable. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not required. Willingness to work part-time shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as service needs require.
