Responsibilities

• Site Safety Supervision: Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with the HSE policies and Qatar regulatory standards.
  

  
  

• Risk Assessment: Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and recommend preventive measures.
  

  
  

• Incident Management: Report, investigate, and document accidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
  

  
  

• Training & Awareness: Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions for workers and subcontractors.
  

  
  

• Permit-to-Work Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to PTW systems, confined space entry, and work-at-height protocols.
  

  
  

• Emergency Preparedness: Support emergency response drills and ensure readiness of firefighting and first-aid equipment.
  

  
  

• Documentation: Maintain safety records, inspection reports, and compliance documentation for audits.
  

  
  

• Coordination: Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to enforce safety standards.
  

  
  

• Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements in safety procedures and contribute to a zero-incident culture.
  

  
  

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health & Safety.
  

  
  

• Minimum 5+ years of safety experience in construction/oil and gas projects (preferably in Qatar).
  

  
  

• NEBOSH IGC / OSHA Certification
  

  
  

• ISO 45001:2018 Awareness
  

  
  

• First Aid & Fire Safety Training
  

  
  

• Work at Height / Confined Space Training
