We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Instrument Technician. Key Responsibilities
- Perform instrument loop checking activities.
- Carry out calibration of field instruments.
- Execute instrumentation construction activities.
- Install, test and commission instrumentation systems.
- Troubleshoot instrument faults and ensure system reliability.
- Follow project specifications and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams.
- Maintain calibration and inspection records.
Required Skills
- Loop Checking – Hands-on commissioning experience.
- Instrument Calibration – Accurate calibration of field devices.
- Industrial Instrumentation – Maintenance and installation knowledge.
- Oil & Gas / Power Plant Experience – Industrial project exposure.
- Construction Activities – Instrument installation and testing.
Preferred Skills
- Commissioning experience.
- Knowledge of HSE practices.
- Reading P&ID and instrumentation drawings.
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 3+ years of experience in loop checking, calibration and instrumentation construction activities in Oil & Gas, Power Plant, Shipyard or similar industrial sectors.
Education
- Minimum: ITI / Diploma
- Preferred: Diploma in Instrumentation/Electrical
- Additional Certifications: Instrument Calibration or Safety Certifications (preferred)
