We are looking for a highly driven, bilingual (Arabic/English) Senior Associate to join our Arbitration practice. The role is suited for a lawyer with strong experience in complex commercial and investment arbitration, capable of handling high-stakes disputes and contributing meaningfully to advocacy and case strategy. Key Responsibilities Handle arbitration matters from the initial case assessment stage through to final award and enforcement. Draft and review pleadings, memorials, written submissions, arbitration clauses, and related legal documents. Contribute to case strategy, legal analysis, and dispute resolution planning. Prepare for and participate in hearings, including oral submissions and witness examination. Advise clients on commercial and investment arbitration matters across multiple jurisdictions. Support arbitration-related court proceedings, including annulment actions and jurisdictional disputes where required; and Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and practical legal advice. Candidate Profile To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:Bachelor’s degree in law or an equivalent legal qualification. Valid legal qualification and admission to practice. At least 7 years of post-qualification experience, with a significant focus on arbitration. Full fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken. Strong experience in commercial and investment arbitration, including familiarity with leading arbitration rules and institutions. Proven ability to prepare high-quality pleadings, submissions, and arbitration agreements. Experience in oral advocacy, including hearing preparation and witness examination. Excellent analytical, drafting, and research skills, with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage arbitration cases independently and efficiently. Solid knowledge of arbitration laws and frameworks in Egypt, Qatar, and the wider MENA region. Commercial awareness, sound judgment, and a practical, solution-focused mindset. Strong interpersonal, client-facing, and communication skills.
