Job Overview

• To assist the MP FOPS Lead of Commissioning in the initial phase by preparing high-level Commissioning procedures/documents and all necessary elements for the future EPCIC Call for Tenders.
• To lead the RP Project Company Commissioning Team, assisting and supervising the EPCIC Contractor activities linked to the Commissioning of the Riser Platform (RP) and associated Brownfield scope (B and E location) in both preparation and execution phases, Onshore and Offshore.

• Total Experience Required: At least 15-20 years in the offshore oil & gas industry.
• Relevant Experience Required: Minimum 8-10 years in a management Commissioning role.
• Industry-Specific Experience: Offshore oil & gas industry, with experience in COMPANY General Specifications, OPERCOM, ICAPS, PRODOM, and related codes/standards.

• Minimum Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
• Certifications:
  • H2S OPITO training
  • T-BOSIET training
• Language Proficiency: Fluent English

• Key Responsibilities:

  
  
  • Preparation and approval of Commissioning Management/Technical procedures, including:
    • Pre-commissioning & Commissioning witnessing procedures.
    • Transfer of Operation and Maintenance Procedure.
    • Relief Valves Testing Procedure.
    • Instrument Loop Testing Procedure.
    • Critical Valve Passing Test Procedure.
    • Operational Test Procedures.
    • Leak Test Packs prepared by Sub-Contractors.
  • Reviewing technical documentation, including:
    • Commissioning scope (training, spares, tools, Vendor Data Requirements, schedules, and vendor mobilization plans).
  • Participation in HAZID, cybersecurity risk assessment, HAZOP, SIL, Ex Inspection/Audit, and 3D model reviews.
  • Coordination of the Company Commissioning team and participation in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for critical/major equipment.
  • Development of the overall Commissioning plan.
  • Management of Commissioning teams, including discipline leads/supervisors and ICAPS/Completion coordination teams (~30 positions supervised).
  • Safety promotion and monitoring of Contractor Commissioning team's compliance with safety procedures.
  • Witness and monitoring of pre-commissioning activities, review/approval of "Ready for Commissioning" (RFC) dossiers.
  • Oversight and progress tracking of Commissioning activities, including punch list follow-ups and corrective action recommendations.
  • Immediate reporting of unexpected events impacting Commissioning or Start-Up.
  • Review and approval of Commissioning and "Transfer and Operation Maintenance" dossiers.

• Technical & Domain Skills:

  
  
  • Experience in General Specifications, OPERCOM, and ICAPS, PRODOM, and relevant offshore oil & gas industry codes and standards.
  • Managing Brownfield integration works, including complex interfaces:
    • New bridge links, ESDV additions, pipeline tie-ins, flare gas recovery systems, and CCR retrofits.
    • Installation and Commissioning of Early Production (EPS) and Post-EPS phases.
    • Interface with SURF packages (subsea pipelines, power/ICSS fiber optic cables).
  • Proficiency in computer use and working in a complex, multicultural environment.
