Role Summary
We are looking for a Security Engineer specializing in firewall technologies to manage, configure, and secure the organization's perimeter and internal network defenses. The role focuses on firewall administration, policy management, and threat prevention.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower, or Check Point).

• Design and maintain firewall rules, policies, NAT, and security zones aligned with best practices.

• Monitor and respond to security events, alerts, and firewall logs.

• Perform firewall rule audits, cleanup, and optimization to reduce risk exposure.

• Manage VPNs (site-to-site and remote access) and secure connectivity.

• Support threat prevention features — IPS/IDS, URL filtering, application control, and anti-malware.

• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and change-management processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 6–10 years of experience in network/information security with a strong firewall focus.

• Hands-on expertise with at least one leading firewall platform (Palo Alto / Fortinet / Check Point / Cisco).

• Strong knowledge of network security concepts, VPNs, IPS/IDS, and threat prevention.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.

• Certifications preferred: PCNSE, NSE 4+, CCSA/CCSE, or CCNP Security; CISSP a plus.
