Job Title:Overview We are seeking an experienced Partnership Manager to drive the growth and success of a card-based loyalty ecosystem by developing and managing strategic merchant partnerships. This role will be responsible for identifying new partnership opportunities, negotiating commercial agreements, and delivering compelling merchant-funded offers that enhance customer engagement and increase card usage.

Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard new merchant partners across retail, dining, travel, entertainment, e-commerce, and lifestyle sectors. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with merchant partners, serving as the primary point of contact to ensure partner satisfaction and continued business growth. Design and implement merchant-funded campaigns, cashback programs, and loyalty offers that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and card spend. Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, revenue-sharing models, promotional funding, and partnership agreements. Monitor and analyze partnership performance, offer effectiveness, and customer engagement, providing recommendations to optimize commercial outcomes. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, new merchant categories, and competitive loyalty offerings within the banking and payments industry. Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Digital, CRM, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives. Prepare business reviews, performance reports, and strategic recommendations for senior management. Ensure all partnership activities comply with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and card scheme guidelines. Build a strong pipeline of prospective merchant partners aligned with the organization's customer value proposition and growth objectives.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.5–8 years of experience in merchant partnerships, business development, loyalty programs, or partnership management within banking, cards & payments, fintech, or payment services. Demonstrated success in acquiring, negotiating, and managing strategic merchant partnerships. Strong understanding of card products, merchant-funded offers, loyalty programs, and customer engagement strategies. Knowledge of card payment ecosystems, interchange economics,Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and make commercially driven recommendations. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities. Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
