Job Title: HSE Manager – Oil & Gas
Job Purpose Responsible for leading and implementing health, safety, and environmental systems across oil & gas operations, ensuring full compliance with regulations and company standards while promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement HSE policies and strategies across projects and operations Ensure compliance with oil & gas safety standards and regulatory requirements Lead process safety management (HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, etc.) Oversee site safety during construction, commissioning, and operations Monitor and manage contractor HSE performance Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented Ensure environmental compliance (waste, emissions, spills, etc.) Conduct audits and inspections to maintain HSE standards Lead emergency response planning and drills Promote safety awareness and training across teams
Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, or related field NEBOSH / IOSH / ISO certifications preferred Experience12+ years in HSE within oil & gas Experience in EPC projects and operational facilities Strong exposure to construction and live plant environments Key Skills Strong knowledge of oil & gas safety standards (ISO, API, OSHA) Experience in process safety and risk management Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to manage contractors and high-risk activities Strong incident investigation and problem-solving skills
