Roles & Responsibilities
Maintain and update instrumentation data using SPI INTools (SmartPlant Instrumentation).
Prepare and update Instrument Index, Instrument Specification Sheets, Loop Drawings, Wiring Drawings, Interconnection Diagrams, and I/O Assignments.
Support Process Safety Information (PSI) and Management of Change (MOC) activities by maintaining accurate engineering documentation.
Verify instrumentation data through document reviews and field verification when required.
Generate reports and ensure the integrity of instrumentation databases.
Support Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance teams with accurate instrumentation documentation.
Perform SPI INTools administration activities including data management, reporting, user management, backup, recovery, and system upgrades.
Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.
3–5 years of Oil & Gas experience; petrochemical industry experience is preferred.
Mandatory: Proven hands-on experience with SPI INTools (SmartPlant Instrumentation) in an operating Oil & Gas or Petrochemical environment.
Strong knowledge of Instrument Indexes, Specification Sheets, Loop Drawings, Wiring Drawings, Interconnection Diagrams, and I/O Assignments.
Experience with Process Safety Information (PSI) and Management of Change (MOC) processes.
Experience supporting engineering, operations, and maintenance teams.
Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Willing to relocate to Ras Laffan, Qatar.
Candidates without hands-on SPI INTools experience in an operating Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plant will not be considered.
