Roles & Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor production process units safely and efficiently.

2. Monitor process parameters including pressure, temperature, flow, and level.

3. Perform plant start-up, shutdown, normal operations, and process troubleshooting.

4. Conduct routine plant inspections, field rounds, and equipment monitoring.

5. Operate DCS/Board or Field Operations as applicable.

6. Maintain production within required operating limits and product specifications.

7. Perform shift handovers and maintain operational logs and reports.

8. Prepare equipment for maintenance and support commissioning activities.

9. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Permit to Work (PTW), JSAs, and HSE requirements.

10. Support turnaround, shutdown, and maintenance activities.

11. Coordinate with Maintenance, Technical, and HSE teams to ensure safe plant operations.

12. Collect process/product samples and report operational abnormalities.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Experience as a Process Operator in a Petrochemical, Ethylene, Polyethylene, Olefins, Chemical, Refinery, LNG, or Gas Processing Plant.

2. Hands-on experience in Ethylene or Polyethylene plant operations is highly preferred.

3. Experience with DCS/Board Operations and/or Field Operations.

4. Strong knowledge of plant start-up, shutdown, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

5. Experience monitoring process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, and level).

6. Familiarity with PTW, SOPs, JSAs, LOTO, and HSE procedures.

7. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

8. Diploma, Vocational Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.

9. Working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is an advantage.

10. Proficient in English.
