Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate the boom truck to transport materials to various job sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the boom truck to identify any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
- Coordinate with site supervisors to understand load requirements and ensure accurate placement of materials using the boom function.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and log hours worked, adhering to company and regulatory standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications in heavy equipment operation preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving boom trucks or similar heavy vehicles in a construction or industrial setting.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for boom truck operation.
- Proven ability to read and interpret load charts and operational manuals for safe boom usage.
