Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Procurement to support procurement operations for MEP and construction projects, ensuring the timely sourcing of materials, supplier management, and cost-effective procurement solutions. This is a full-time position based in Qatar.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum 15 years of procurement experience within MEP and construction projects
Proven experience sourcing MEP materials and managing supplier relationships
Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiations, and purchasing activities
Experience supporting project teams with material planning and procurement requirements
GCC/Qatar experience is highly preferred
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Expertise in procuring MEP and construction materials while ensuring quality and cost efficiency
Capable of sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotations, and negotiating commercial terms
Adept at coordinating with project teams to forecast material requirements and delivery schedules
Proficiency in preparing purchase orders, procurement reports, and maintaining accurate documentation
Effective supplier performance management with a focus on timely deliveries and service quality
Strong commercial awareness to support cost control and procurement budgeting
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
