Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent – Cargo Operations to support cargo operations, shipment documentation, revenue administration, and customer enquiries while ensuring efficient cargo processing and compliance with airline and IATA standards. This is a 6-month contract position based in Qatar.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in air cargo operations, cargo customer service, or airline cargo management
Proven experience handling cargo reservations, shipment documentation, Air Waybill (AWB) processing, and cargo accounting
Working knowledge of IATA cargo regulations, cargo handling procedures, and dangerous goods requirements
Experience using cargo management systems and Microsoft Office applications
Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Expertise in cargo booking, shipment acceptance, and Air Waybill (AWB) preparation
Capable of coordinating cargo reservations, shipment tracking, and customer enquiries
Adept at preparing cargo invoices, revenue documentation, and operational reports
Experience ensuring compliance with airline procedures, IATA regulations, and cargo handling standards
Proficiency in maintaining accurate shipment records and updating cargo management systems
Effective coordination with freight forwarders, airlines, internal departments, and external stakeholders
Strong attention to detail with excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service capabilities
