Roles & Responsibilities
- Accurately quantify and price all ELV (Extra Low Voltage) materials and labor from project drawings and specifications to ensure competitive and profitable bids.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and engineers to understand project scope, technical requirements, and potential risks, proactively identifying value engineering opportunities.
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns and proposals, clearly articulating the scope of work, exclusions, and assumptions for client review.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive database of suppliers, subcontractors, and historical cost data, fostering strong relationships to secure favorable pricing.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimating ELV systems (e.g., CCTV, access control, fire alarm, structured cabling, AV).
- Professional certifications such as CCP (Certified Cost Professional) or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- Extensive knowledge of ELV system design, installation practices, and relevant international/local standards (e.g., BICSI, NFPA).
