A leading Construction Project is hiring for PTW Officer
Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Must hold an Oryx GTL PTW2 Card. Must have a strong supervisory background specifically within Civil engineering and construction. Minimum of 5+ years of GCC experience in a supervisory or PTW capacity, preferably within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical environments. Must be available to attend a mandatory face-to-face interview.
Responsibilities:Initiate, process, and manage the end-to-end Permit to Work (PTW) lifecycle for all on-site civil and structural activities. Conduct thorough Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments prior to opening permits, ensuring all hazards are identified and mitigated in accordance with Oryx GTL protocols. Act as the primary on-site civil supervisor, enforcing strict adherence to safety regulations, approved drawings, and the conditions specified within the PTW. Liaise daily with HSE departments, site engineers, and client representatives to secure required clearances and prevent operational downtime. Conduct daily Toolbox Talks (TBT) to brief civil crews on specific permit conditions, site hazards, andemergency procedures.
