This role is responsible for managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of customer payments and reducing outstanding balances through effective collection strategies. The role involves analyzing customer payment patterns, following up on overdue accounts, resolving payment disputes, and maintaining high customer service standards. It also includes preparing accounts receivable, working capital, and financial reports, supporting monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, and assisting with statutory audits. The position requires close collaboration with business units to reconcile financial data, provide insights on trends and performance, and support working capital optimization initiatives. Additionally, the role ensures compliance with finance policies, procedures, and internal controls while leading, coaching, and developing a team of AR staff. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or CIMA. The ideal candidate will have 6–8 years of finance or accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, knowledge of accounts receivable processes, and preferably experience with IFRS and Oracle Fusion.
