Roles & Responsibilities
A Construction Planning Engineer is the mastermind behind project execution. They transform blueprints and scope documents into detailed, actionable schedules. By continuously forecasting timelines, tracking progress, and allocating resources, they ensure the project is completed safely, on-time, and within budget
Proficiency in managing and overseeing projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and successful completion.
Strong analytical abilities to assess complex project data, identify trends, anticipate potential issues, and propose effective solutions to maintain project timelines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on project objectives and timelines.
Sound knowledge and expertise in project management software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other planning tools, to efficiently create, manage, and update project schedules.
Keen eye for detail to meticulously monitor project plans, identify discrepancies, and ensure accuracy in scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Software: Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and the MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and contract negotiation skills (knowledge of FIDIC or similar contracts is highly valued).
Experience in the planning of pools and landscaping (construction) is an advantage.
